Problems using the Applications
1. I’ve just opened my training schedule and the app says I can miss a day. Why?
The course adjusts to your ability, depending on the maximum reps the app records you doing. This means that either you completed the previous day with a very high number of reps, or you completed a battle with a higher number of reps than you normally would. Well done!
You could miss out the day of training, as the app suggests, or you could continue your training schedule from where you left off. It’s up to how you feel about your training. Please bear in mind that if you miss a training day out, you may find the next day too difficult
2. While training, the app stopped counting reps and the only option was to begin again. Why?
This could be for one of several reasons:
1. You may have paused for too long during the set of reps, or may have had too many “half” warnings. The GymFu trainer is designed to notice when you seem to be struggling with the current training session and will stop your set to help prevent injuries. The training sessions are designed with rest periods, so if you find you have to rest during the set it’s best if you go back a stage in the training schedule. This way you can build up your strength and complete the training periods with only the programmed rests – and that is much more of an accomplishment than having to have mini-breaks during sets!
2. If you’re getting too many “half” warnings, but you’re sure you’re doing the full range of motion, then please check that you’ve attached the app properly. Visit our support pages for more information.
3. You may be accidentally sliding the “slide to dismiss” slider at the bottom of the screen during exercise. To avoid this, make sure you are attaching the device properly (see our support pages for more information), and that nothing is touching the screen as you complete your reps.
