To record your motion properly, you must attach the device to the inside of your upper arm. The Home button should be closest to your body, and the top of the device closest to your hands.
If you are having problems with the motion detection, please review the pictures and directions carefully.
A common mistake is to place the device on the top of your bicep. In this position the motion is often too wobbly so it might record your pushups incorrectly.
Make sure the device is parallel to your upper arm and fixed firmly.
To record your motion properly, the top of the device should be pointing towards your feet. The device must move with your upper leg (your thigh). You can strap it to your leg, but putting it in a front or back pocket sometimes works too.

CrunchFu doesn’t need a strap – you hold it to your chest.
You may find it useful to hold the device in different ways – whichever method you choose, make sure it moves with your chest and the Home button is closest to your neck.
